Wally first came to the village in 1971, he can tell you almost everything about the village!
What he does not know he can find out! He calls the shop “the hub of the village”! where friends meet new and old.
Andrew “The Badger” Brittleton
Andy joined the team in 2002 and has proved himself to be a well liked character around the village, always looking to be cheeky and never misses a trick!
He is responsible for the day to day running of the shop and can nearly always be found in the middle of the shop trimming and preparing the meat for sale.
Charlie joined the team full time in November 2019 after previously washing up after school for 2 years.
He is a local lad and well known by the villagers. He is always up for a chat about football. Come on the blues!!!!
Joined us in mid 2017, Anne is a great cook and font of all things cookery!
She has worked in local garden centres and joined us from Sainsburys. In her youth she even served lunch to Lady “Iron Lady ” Margaret Thatcher!!
40 years experience in high street retail.Joined the team in March 2022. Always happy to help.
Richard joined the team during the pandemic. He has worked in butchery for many years and has come and gone to pursue other interests.
He is well known to Wally as his father ‘a butcher’ trained with Wally.
Perry re-joined the team in 2005. He has been around the shop for a long time though! He first joined the team as a washing up lad whilst at school!
He learned his trade with Wally and has become a good all rounder! (Apart from his singing which can be heard daily).
Joined us in mid 2018, Bob has joined us from Bellis Farm Shop near Wrexham, but before that he was well known for working with Phil Salt in Broughton.
Has 40 years in fresh food retail. Works as a part time delivery driver and does the ‘Turkey’ run as Father Christmas.
Starts the day by making everyone a brew
Joined the team in 2022 to process the meat deliveries.
He is a butcher by trade and moved to the area recently.

Shaun a local lad loves his football and sports, a regular in the Kelsall F C team, makes all your sausages and burgers, if you are lucky you may get a rendition of his favourite song!
She joined the team in 2021 after being a customer
for many years.
Known locally as the sweeps wife.
